I Want You to Think I'm Amazing (But I'll Settle With Just Being Hot)

This short zine examines my life during the very first COVID lockdowns of March 2020. Complete with original drawings, photos, and short essays about how the pandemic affected me, this zine represents the beginning of my freelance journey.

Quarantining in my apartment, I was forced to take a hard look at my life. The pandemic, as tragic as it was, allowed me to take a deeper look into who I wanted be on the other side of it.

After experiencing the loss of friends due to COVID and suicide, was I just going to keep aimlessly living my life with no purpose? Was I going to keep allowing people to treat me poorly? Was I going to return to a toxic world of stand up comedy that I was starting to hate? Or was I going to be inspired by my losses and finally become the full-time artist I've always wanted to be? This zine explores it all.
